After payment you receive a license key (format IIPM-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX) by email. Start the app, enter the key on the activation screen, and it's bound to that computer for 365 days.
Yes. A key works on one computer at a time — deactivate it from the app's license screen on the old machine, then activate on the new one. If the old machine is unavailable, contact support and we'll release the key for you.
Activation and periodic license checks are online, but the app keeps working for up to 7 days offline after its last successful check — enough for site work or travel.
The app stops applying changes until the license is renewed. Your Inventor files are never touched by expiry — everything already written stays exactly as it is.
